Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.
Church elders (also known in the New Testament as pastors, shepherds, bishops, or overseers) are responsible for the direction of the work and worship of the church. As shepherds and pastors, they are also responsible for the spiritual safety and development of each member of the congregation.Central has been blessed in her history with good leadership and oversight. Currently, there are three elders at Central:
Donnie Allen, Carl Pettes, and Jimmy Breeden,
John Krantz, Ken Bone, Robin Petty, and Richard Jones
